Overview
This short web series breaks down Tier 1 PBIS into focused, one-hour long sessions on the “big” pieces. Join other teams in the PacNW and learn how to implement, and refine core components of Tier 1, school-wide prevention. In addition to learning critical features of PBIS, you will walk away with templates and examples that will kick start your team efforts!
Objectives
Define, and describe the critical features of school-wide expectations & behavior matrices.
Describe effective approaches for responding to problem behavior.
Describe the data-driven team decision making process.
Define approaches to support student agency and meaningful family engagement.
Describe the most effective discipline practices.
Who Should Attend
PBIS/MTSS Teams, Teacher leaders, Administrators, already implementing, refining, or thinking about implementing Tier 1 PBIS.
