Mental Health Promotion and Response in MTSS:

A Blueprint for Schools

This series of learning and networking events will provide concrete examples and resources for the installation of mental health prevention and response within a district-wide, multi-tiered support system. A continuation from the 2020-21 school year, these events are relevant for district & school level personnel, and community mental health providers in Lane County.

You will walk away with a better understanding of the "how to" of collaboration and alignment to make sure ALL kids have access to mental health prevention and response.

Co-hosted by Lane County Prevention office and Northwest PBIS Network, these events are made possible by generous funding from the Lane County Coordinated Care Organizations, Trillium Community Health Plan and Pacific Source Community Solutions, and the Lane Community Health Council.

Training events will be held on one Tuesday afternoon each month, from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm PT.

Objectives of the Training series

Understand the key concepts of mental health integration
Understand what looks "different" in a district that has integrated mental health into MTSS, compared to a co-located model
Understand the shifting role of the clinician
Learn strategies that all staff can use to promote mental health, increase predictability, and be more relationship focused
Gain examples, documents, and other tools to help your district or school integrate mental health more efficiently and effectively.
Network with local educators, clinicians, and Lane Co. community providers to establish a cohort of care.

ALL districts, all states are welcome to attend. An additional opportunity for Lane Co. Districts is FREE technical assistance/ coaching to help your district fully integrate mental health into your multi-tiered supports.
